A founding member of two of Atlantic Canada's most influential bands
FIGGY DUFF [ 1974-93 ]
NEWFOUNDLAND'S FOLK ROCK LEGEND
"THE DUFF"changed the way that Newfoundlanders approached traditional music and laid the groundwork for much of what was to follow i.e. Wonderful Grand Band , Great Big Sea , The Punters , The Fables , Shanneygannock etc.
In this highly original and creative environment Dave went from the provincial stage to national and international acclaim while contributing a driving instrumental presence to the music.

WINNERS OF SIX EAST COAST MUSIC AWARDS
Along with brother Geoff , Dave was the main artistic force behind this band which combined the traditional music of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia with the impact of rock in spontaneous live performances.
